Lebron says: ” I am not Superior to Anyone”

June 27, 2011 1 comment

I have been asked for my opinion concerning Lebron and the Miami Heat many times this past year. Here goes:

The Heat can be defined in six words: TOO MUCH TALENT, NOT ENOUGH CHARACTER!

Lebron: You need to accept the repercussions for leaving your hometown the way you did. Leaving Cleveland was not a bad move, but having titled your decision as “The Decision” certainly was. Throwing a circus-like party with Bosh and Wade was another bad move along with promising Miami fans that you will deliver north of six championships. Throwing fries at a world class chef and shouting “Their cold!” is a classless act. Addressing the world saying: “Yes we lost, but when everyone wakes up in the morning they are gonna to still have the same problems as before,” is indirectly taking shots at the less fortunate.

“King James,” “The Chosen One,” or any other name that you wish to be called: You made your bed, now sleep in it!

Dirk: The Real Champ

As most of you are aware, the Dallas Mavericks held their victory parade on
Thursday. If you were not in attendance and you have not already heard Dirk’s rendition
of “We are the Champions” then I strongly advise you to do so. I have not
heard a man sing worse than that since my bar-mitzvah. However, I must
say: Dirk, YOU are the real winner here. Not because of your outstanding voice and
not because of your first championship ring. Not even because of the huge bonus you’ll receive from Mark Cuban ( we heard he knows how to tip). Its mostly because  you silenced all critics and the “little 3” in Miami.

Dirk came into this league as a talented big man who could shoot the lights out.
For 13 years he has created all sorts of mismatches. Dirk has shown his skill having knocked down shot after shot during the season.  Then, out came the media: “Dirk cannot hit the big shot when the game is on the line”. When the Mavericks lost to the heat in the 2006 finals, the media along with Dwyane Wade took cheap shots at Dirk, calling him “soft” and claiming ” he cannot come thru in the clutch”. Well, Dirk silenced them, and he did it in spades. Without saying a word, he came to work, delivered in
the clutch moments and sent the Heat back to South Beach talking to themselves.

DIRK! YOU ARE A TRUE CHAMP.
